If you think your HELOC statement is wrong, or if you need more information about a transaction, send us a letter on a separate sheet titled “Billing Error Dispute” to the designated address shown below. It’s important we hear from you no later than 60 days after we sent you the statement on which the error or problem appeared. You may write to us at the following address:

Please be sure to include in your letter: your name, account number, the dollar amount of the possible error, and an explanation of why you believe there is an error. If you need more information about a transaction, please describe the item you are unsure about and why. You do not have to pay the amount in question while we are investigating, but you are still obligated to pay the remaining balance of the statement. While we research, we will not report you as delinquent or take any action to collect on the amount we are researching.
