Season of Serving: Celebrating Community and Giving Back

At Servbank, giving back is more than a tradition, it’s part of who we are. Guided by our core value, People Matter., we believe that every act of kindness strengthens the communities we serve. Each year, our Season of Serving initiative brings together team members, customers, and community partners to make a meaningful impact. This year, we’re excited to continue that tradition with a special event that celebrates generosity and connection.

Oswego Community Holiday Open House

On Thursday, December 11th, we hosted a Holiday Open House at our Oswego branch. This festive gathering featured representatives from local charities, members of the community, and Servbank customers. It’s an opportunity to share joy, express gratitude, and strengthen the bonds that make our communities thrive.

Honoring Our Charity Partners

During the Season of Serving, we’ll present donations to organizations that work tirelessly to support those in need. This year’s selected charities include:

  • Hesed House – Providing shelter and support for individuals experiencing homelessness.
  • Midwest Housing – Advocating for affordable housing solutions.
  • St. Leo’s – Serving families through community outreach programs.
  • Women’s Business Development Center – Empowering women entrepreneurs and small businesses.
  • DuPage Foundation – Driving philanthropic initiatives across the region.
  • Safer Foundation – Helping individuals with criminal records re-enter the workforce.
  • Home of the Sparrow – Supporting women and children facing homelessness.
  • Kendall County Community Food Pantry – Fighting food insecurity locally.
  • Aurora Food Pantry – Delivering essential groceries to families in need.
  • Mutual Ground – Providing domestic violence and sexual assault services.
  • Family Promise – Assisting families in crisis with housing and resources.
  • St. Mary’s Food Pantry – Offering meals and support to those in need.
  • Ronald McDonald House in Melville, NY – Giving families a place to stay while children receive medical care.

These organizations embody the spirit of service, and we’re proud to stand alongside them in making a difference.
