Switch charges automatically billed to your old debit card

Contact the company that you have authorized to receive payment through your old debit card and tell them to debit your new Allied First Bank VISA Debit Card instead. They will need your new card number and expiration date. You can use our Automatic Withdrawal Change Form.

Let outstanding checks and automatic withdrawals clear your old account. Leave enough money in the account to cover your outstanding checks. It may take several weeks for everything to clear.

  1. Close your old account
Ask your old financial institution to close your account.
Request a check for your remaining balance. Use the Close Account Form and give it to your financial institution.
Destroy your checks and ATM/Debit cards from your old financial institution.
Be sure to cut up credit cards and shred checks from your old financial institution.
